High Tide Times

2019

High Tide Times is a newspaper that aims to diversify conversations about the climate crisis. The publication disrupts the existing media landscape by defying the expected mediums and favouring the complexity of human experience. Irony, play and humour share the same pages as nuance, poetics and conviction; offering a voice that speaks with us, not at us.

First edition exhibited and distributed at Exposure Graduate Exhibition 2019.

A bespoke publication created to honour the words and experiences of sexual violence survivors. ACC Customer Insights and Experience came to me with primary interviews and their  insights into the experiences of sexual violence survivors interacting with ACC’s support systems. In close contact with the project lead, I designed this publication to lift these voices up and out from the corporate complexities of internal ACC projects.

First person words redacted.

All is Welly

Best Award Finalist 2019

All is Welly is a conceptual city identity for Wellington, New Zealand. This project was our response to a brief given to us by the Wellington Regional Economic Development Agency, seeking a “unifying logo or mark” for the capital. Through primary research, and our own first hand experience, we identified the one constant in
Wellington: change. From this we developed a dynamic brand identity, revolving around the humble mantra ‘all is welly’. The campaign evolves, opening up to the honest, cheeky and true opinions of the citizens themselves.
